Cauliflower: Cauliflower belongs to brasslike family and relative of similar vegetables like cabbage and broccoli. It is best cancer fighting dietary agent known up until now, cauliflower is rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants, which fight against cancer cells and delay formation of aging cells in body.

It contains numerous photochemical like flavenoids and carotenoids, which prevent from atherosclerosis or thickening of blood vessels in body and major organs like heart and kidney and save organs from oxidative damage.

Cauliflower also contains minerals like calcium phosphorous magnesium copper and zinc which helps in prevention of osteoporosis, anemia and other blood disorders and reduces the incidence of infertility in couples. Cauliflower also contains fiber and thus healthy vegetable for digestive tract.

Cauliflower’s antioxidant content is reduced by cooking it for longer time. Best method for preserving its maximum anti oxidants and vitamins content is steaming, stir frying, and microwaving.

Cauliflower should be consumed in daily diet preferably in raw form; in form of salads or pickles of cauliflowers can also be used to get maximum nutritive value to get long healthy life.
