Potato

Potato: Potatoes are commonest vegetable used by people and is a staple diet like rice and wheat in many countries. This is because potatoes have high content of carbohydrates, which give energy instantly.

Although potatoes are famous for their rich carbohydrates content but in reality, this vegetable is full of healthy nutrients, it is very easily digestible food and ideal for ill, old and very young individuals, in babies; weaning is started mostly in form of mashed potatoes. In children, these are very beneficial foods because children need   carbohydrates and energy for their physical and mental growth, which can best be provided by potatoes.

Potatoes contain vitamin C, which is antioxidant and prevents gum and mouth diseases like mouth ulcers, gum bleed and skin infections. Potatoes also contain minerals like sodium, potassium, calcium,, phosphorous, zinc and magnesium.

All are required for healthy functioning of cells. Potatoes are good food in diarrhea due to its fiber content, which prevents loss of water and dehydration seen in diarrhea. Potatoes are also good for skin and its juice can be applied locally to fade freckles and dark circles. Alu aik mashoor aam sabzi hai jo zamin kay ander paida honewali sabziyon mein say aik hai yeh har mulk aur har khittay mein khaya jata hai aur isay mukhtalif tariqon say paka kar ya ubal kar istemal kiya jata hai. batore salan,batore chips,kabab waghairah alu har maqam par mojud raha karta hai. is ki kaee iqsam hain. Magar in sab mein say surkh gola,behtarin alu ki qisam hai. alu hamaisha tazah achay aur faida bakhsh hotay hain. Inhain store mein rakha jata hai. magar store kay alu,faida mand aur mazedar kam hotay hain.

Namkiyat roghani ajza,protein aur vitamin H,C,E,B,D ki wafar miqdar alu mein mojud hoti hai. sabziyon mein mukhtalif vitamins sab say ziyadah alu mein paee jati hain. Is ka mizaj sard khushk hai.

Alu ko ubal kar ya paratha bana kar khana sab say ziyadah mufid hota hai aur gosht kay hamrah alu ko khana bhi faida bakhsh hai. alu reh aur nafakh paida kardaita hai. alu ka ziyadah istemal karnay say sodadi madah mein tehrik paida hoti hai. is liye isay aitedal say ziyadah istemal karnay say sodadi madah mein tehrik paida hoti hai.
